Postponed the First day of the European Championship due to hard weather conditions

Hard weather conditions, with winds of more than 25 knots -gusts of  30-32 knots- have forced the organization to postpone the first day of sailing in the European Laser Championship.
The organization had the racecourse ready from 10:00 and waited today to make a decision until 13:30  but conditions unfortunately didn’t improve. 267 sailors from over 40 countries are competing in this Senior Championship: 126 sailors for Laser Standard, 99 sailors in Laser Radial (female) and 42 in Laser Radial (male).
Weather forecast for tomorrow looks better and hopefully the race will be able to start tomorrow. Monday there are 3 races scheduled.
